The XSTELLAR™ Disposable Endo Linear Cutter Stapler WS has application in multiple open or minimally invasive general, gynecologic, urologic, thoracic, and pediatric surgical procedures. The instruments may also be used for transection and resection of liver parenchyma (hepatic vasculature and biliary structures), pancreas, kidney, and spleen.
To operate the J&J-style manual endo linear cutter stapler, load the cartridge and rotate the knob until it clicks. Close the jaw for 15 seconds to compress tissue, then fire fully. Hold for 5 seconds to ensure staple formation, reset the safety latch, and withdraw using a 90° fish-tail motion. The ergonomic handle reduces fatigue, while tactile feedback ensures confidence.
