The instruments may also be used for transection and resection of liver parenchyma (hepatic vasculature and biliary structures), pancreas, kidney and spleen.
Disposable Endo Linear Cutter Stapler Operation Guide:
1. Take out the stapler and reloading unit. Inserts the RU into the stapler shaft. Push in and twist clockwise with an audible "click" to confirm it is locked into place. Do not remove the protective cover before the RU is properly installed. If the knife head is accidentally moved even slightly, the endo stapler may still fire but cannot be retracted, leading to potential issues.
2. Adjust the steering wrench or rotary switch to put the jaw in a proper position. Squeeze the firing handle completely to close the jaws and securely clamp the tissue, and compress the tissue for 15~20 seconds. Push the green safety button before starting the firing process. Squeeze the firing handle sequentially until the handle locks.
3. Pull the black return knob back to release, opening the jaw, and one firing is complete. Press and hold the unload button, turn the cartridge anti-clockwise to unlock and release it from the shaft.
